Day 4

Wonderful news!!!  Lorraine and I lost 10 pounds since Sunday!  Today is our first day of cleansing.  What is neat about what we are doing is there are snacks associated with the program and an energy shot!  My snacks are these tasty wafers and a chunk of chocolate infused with green tea. This first month is intense, but we see a difference daily.  On top of all of this, we are saving money!  I am keeping track of the expenses we would usually spend on Starbucks and eating out, as a tally to also look at when it comes to adding up the value of this regimen.

For me, I have to maintain, because of all my public appearances.  People invite me to go to Patriotic events all over the Country, and they want me in my Marine Corps Dress Blues.  They are custom fitted to a tee and fitted last May, and now I look like "El Heffy"!  It is embarrassing and not the standards we have as Marines!  It is almost to the point of buying a new set or not wearing it all together because we have an image to maintain.  I would never take away from that.

As I travel, I go and inspire people and our youth to be respectful, compassionate citizens.   I care so much for people and attempt to express to them that they are special, and needed in society just how they are!  Some people never get a pat on the back and told that they are doing a good job, and it amazes me when I find out later how something so simple touched their lives, just like my salute.

Lorraine is a beautiful woman inside and out.  She understands the importance of preventative maintenance and is excited to become healthier and go shopping for some new clothes!  Ones that Lorraine will be able to wear for years to come!  She also travels with me from time to time and feels the expectations people have.

We would love people to reach out to us and join our journey to take our health back!
