What diet do you know allows you to eat chocolate every day? (up to 6???) I love chocolate! I never eat chocolate every day! Tough life I guess as we journey on our life changing experience of taking our health back.
We may have one of two different types of bars either a Natural Oatmeal Rasin or a chocolate peanut butter crunch that is a low glycemic meal alternative. Some nuts and an apple and two delicious shakes, a few hard boiled eggs and to top it all off with a healthy dinner!
Lorraine is the most fantastic cook! She picks up the slack for my lack of talent on the grill as well.
We both just did our first cleanse day yesterday, and today we feel the difference in our belly's. Lorraine has lost 12 pounds, and I have lost 14 pounds. As long as she maintains her bust I am all for it :)
I had my first close call at Starbucks where I do my homework. I have two freebies in the Star program and did a mobile order for two of their carved ham and swiss breakfast sandwiches and a regular coffee but the stars paid for one of the sandwiches and the coffee instead of both of the sandwiches! I then thought about it, and how I would be cheating on Lorraine if I indulged as well as cheating myself to continue to see what these products will do for us. I also thought about the money that we are saving; that will be needed down the road for Rolling Thunder and a few other events I have coming up. I know Lorraine would forgive me but would I forgive myself. I opted out and deleted the order.
I then thought about how we will be able to eat Christmas Dinner. So our goal is to make it the duration of the first month aside of a Christmas dinner which in all actuality we can still indulge just in moderation and this new diet does allow for me to eat, to begin with so perhaps we will not be getting off the track at all!
What I learned the day after the cleanse is, have the second shake and start on the snacks earlier than at lunch to hold me over for dinner. :)
:) I use the word "belly" until we regain what is called a stomach :)
